Andrea Vrana
Andrea Vrana (fl. 1261) was an Albanian nobleman appointed by Manfred of Sicily as captain of Durazzo (Durrës). The Vrana family was based in the castle of Xibër village in the Mat District.
==Life==
Manfred of Sicily, who had imposed a military government in Durazzo, appointed Andrea Vrana as ''capitano'' (captain) of the city.〔 〕 He hailed from the well-known local Vrana noble family.〔 The family were based in Xibër village in the Mat District.〔Anamali, Skënder; Prifti (2002) (in Albanian).
